Her predicted it all already then. Unfortunately, he died much too early at the age of 62 on December 1996.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than ever, we today need more science communication to inform society of scientific principles and knowledge. This is why we want to enable our young scientists to do so and will develop the Austrian Science Communication Center together with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/oeaw.at\/\">@oeaw.at<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/univienna\/\">@univienna<\/a>&nbsp;in the first district of Vienna close to \u00d6AW.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of my heroes in science, Carl Sagan, astrophysicist, exobiologist and science communicator testifying before congress about the greenhouse effect and climate change in 1985 (!), almost 40 years ago.
