Another good news for our science community and Austria 🇦🇹today:
Austria’s largest Science Communication Center is being developed in the heart of Vienna’s city center.
The Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW), the Universität Wien and our Technische Universität Wien will develop the Science Communication Center and use the historic building „Aula der Wissenschaften“ on Wollzeile in Vienna’s 1st district from 2025 for it.
This will create Austria’s largest center for science communication and science education in the heart of Vienna.
4,500 square meters gross floor area, more than 70,000 visitors a year, contemporary science communication at eye level: with these goals, the Science Communication Center aims to set new standards in the communication of excellent research and teaching.
