The success story continues: celebrating the 2nd place of Team @scuderiasegfault (scale 1:10 racing cars) from TU Wien @ 21st F1TENTH Autonomous Grand Prix in my office.
The competition was held from October 14th to 18th 2024 as part of IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2024) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Under challenging conditions, our students succeeded in showing superior performance in this autonomous racing challenge against teams from very renowned universities and research institutes.
The team of @tu_wien from the faculties of computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering are exceptional team players and perfectly combine disciplinary excellence with team-oriented problem solving skills. Thanks to Prof. Radu Grosu, they can develop exceptional skills based on their own curiosity and personal responsibility.
