Today‘s visit at @messe_duesseldorf / Glasstec 2024 showed super interesting developments at the intersect of the latest research and production in glass.
What is a very important: topics on circular economy including re-use, recover, recycling, repair, recover, remanufacture, repurpose, refurbish (R-strategies) are now in the center of the thinking in research & innovation, for example at the Glasstechnology Live (GTL). Industry needs to speed up its efforts in this field.
And it is very nice that the collaboration between @tudarmstadt@tudelft and @tudresden is stronger than ever.
It is always very rewarding to see how our research results are now included in products, services and quality control systems.
Thank you to my former team at the Glass Competence Center of @tudarmstadt around @knaackulrich and for organizing the GTL and preparing so many great objects!
